Casa Serena draws inspiration from the clients’ time living in Central and South America, but through a California lens. The kitchen features a unique Ceppo arch that evokes the warmth of a sunrise or sunset, complemented by bespoke rift-cut white oak cabinetry, and travertine flagstone flooring.

This mini remodel was a dramatic transformation from a cold, all grey environment to a warm, bright and serene space. Our clients are a young couple, able to travel the world regularly being they both work remote, so we wanted to create a space that felt like their favorite places abroad every time they returned home.

For this project, we were inspired by the relaxed, ocean-connected designs of Australian designers, which perfectly align with our client’s own Australian roots and aesthetic. In one bathroom, we created direct outdoor access so they can step straight from a surfing session into a refreshing shower.
